Adobe Digital's quarterly report analyses consumer Facebook data, over two years, from retail, media, entertainment, travel and websites. Their survey analysed 131 billion Facebook ad impressions, 400 million unique visitors, 1.04 billion Facebook posts and over 4 billion Facebook comments, shares and likes.

Social engagement increases when posts include an image or video; posts with an image increase by 600% compared to a text link.
Most popular sharing types on Facebook
As expected, the majority of engagement comes from Facebook 'Likes' - accounting for 87% of all social engagement. An example of this shows that on average a brand post would have 946 Likes, 88 shares and 55 comments.
A tip is to add geo-targeting to your brand post to increase relevance.
